Pre-School Adorn Autumnal Crowns

In Pre-School this week we have been talking about Autumn; we went on a walk where we collected treasures and stuck them onto paper to make Autumnal crowns.

We have shared some Autumn poetry and stories, thinking about special vocabulary we can use to describe what we see in Autumn. Adding eyes and a stick to some leaves, we have made leaf puppets along with lots of leaf rubbing which made some interesting patterns.

Looking at number 4 this week, we have hunted for shapes with four sides and used four objects to create our own four-sided shapes. We have been using objects to touch count to 4 and drawing four leaves onto our Autumn trees.
