Extra Activities
We run a wonderful range of after-school activities which are available on a daily basis for those pupils wishing to join in or for those parents who would like to collect their children later.
Activities can include tennis, ballet, contemporary dance, choir, music clubs, football, Forest School, Speech and Drama to name a few! Children staying for activities have a snack at 4pm and play time until the activities start.
After-school clubs are available to all of our pupils in Years 1 and 2 whilst for our younger children in Nursery and Pre-Prep, age relevant after school care runs alongside the clubs which provides a relaxed and fun time after school.
Recorder and Percussion Clubs
Mrs Moore takes these clubs. All instruments will be provided, but the children are welcome to bring their own recorders.
Swimming
A maximum of 16 children can participate in the club and therefore any child who does not make the list one term will be given priority the following term.
Tennis
Tennis with Miss Parkin-Bowes for Years 1 and 2 is on a Monday or Friday. Children are assigned the day of their club based on their ability. There are 12 places per session.
Ballet
Ballet is part of the curriculum in the Nursery and Dance is part of the curriculum in the Reception class. Ballet is offered as an optional extra to children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 as well as to older children in the Prep School.
Speech and Drama
Speech and Drama is available as an optional extra for Year 2 children. Lessons are held during the school day on a day and time to be confirmed by Miss de la Poer at the beginning of each term. Please speak to your class teacher if you are interested in your child joining Speech and Drama.
Forest School
Mrs Millard, our Forest School leader takes this club. A maximum of 12 children can participate in this after school activity.
Golf
Our Pre-Prep Golf Club takes place on Mondays with professional golfer Mr Martin Liley.
Judo
Mr Gleeson who teaches the children in the Prep school takes this club. This is a chargeable club and as such a term's notice of withdrawal is required once your child has started the club.
Pre-Prep Choir
This is a choir for year 1 and 2 children and is organised by Mr Birch.
