Pre-School Build Animal Homes

Pre-School have had a super busy week! We have been continuing our theme of Let’s Celebrate and this week we have been celebrating animals and our wonderful world.

We began the week sharing information texts about animal homes where we explored the names of different animal homes; we also discussed what animals needed in a home. We used mixed media to create individual animal homes and were able to talk about why we had used different pieces or materials.

On Wednesday we had a visit from Tara the dentist to talk about how to keep our teeth clean and what foods are good for our teeth. Everyone really enjoyed listening and we were impressed with some of the comments and questions the children asked.

We have been enthusiastically learning our Nativity songs and look forward to performing the Wriggly Nativity in December.
