Pre-School Hunt for Blackberries
Pre-School have had a super week and are all settling well into our new routines. We are so proud of how everyone is trying to follow instructions and be more independent.
This week we have read the story “Sharing a Shell” and have been involved in lots of activities in response to this such as mark-making with shells, painting and printing using objects we might find at the beach, ordering objects by size and talking about how the characters in the story feel. Lots of children have enjoyed learning to name the parts of a book and can now independently name the front, back and spine.
We went for a walk into the grounds on Tuesday afternoon and collected some blackberries which will magically be turned into jam ready for spreading on our toast next week in the outdoor classroom. We had fun at PE and all enjoyed our music session on Monday where we learnt some new rhymes with actions.
