Happy and Confident Voices Circled the Year 2 Classrooms This Week
The sun may have been hiding on our return to school this week but the children have all managed to bring the sunshine into the classrooms.
They have met new friends, shared stories of their holiday adventures and started to settle into their new routines. It has been lovely to hear such happy, confident voices in the Year 2 classrooms!
We have loved travelling to Scotland to meet Katie Morag. Many of her adventures are familiar to the children and our deep delve into the story of delivering the mail has helped us rekindle our growing English skills. Our first Forest School session this term was eagerly awaited for by many and it was so lovely to be out in our school woods again; having fun and learning in an outdoor environment.
