Talk Education 2024 Winners for Innovation in Education

It has been wonderful to open the new academic year with an award from Talk Education.

Talk Education is one of the leading advisory services for families looking to select an independent school and was founded by Alice Rose, Teddy Wolstenholme and their team. The Talk Education Awards for Innovation in Education are designed to celebrate the schools that are changing the face of independent education. It is a source of great pride for the school that Hazlegrove has been awarded The Alice Rose Award, a very special award, in memory of TE's co-founder Alice. Very much loved not only by the Talk team but by schools and parents alike, she remains a driving force behind Talk Education, and it is thanks to her brilliant vision, her positivity and inspiration that Talk has grown into the huge success story it is today.  

In honour of Alice, the judges selected the two schools that embody the qualities Alice was most passionate about - a school where children are allowed to be children, one that supports growth and learning but allows them to climb trees and get muddy knees, where confident, nurtured, happy children enjoy their childhood. A true home-from-home.  The winner was chosen by the whole TE team, as well as Alice's husband James and their three boys.
