Year 1s Bean Plants Reach for the Stars

We could not be prouder of our Year 1s as they work, learn and play right to the end.

We loved writing worded problems of  our own in maths for friends to solve, learning about how to cope with changes in our PSHE lessons, and reflecting back over our year thinking of all the amazing things we have learnt! This week saw our bean plants reach for the stars and grow incredibly tall, too tall for our classroom! They are ready to be planted out into the garden to thrive and grow in a new place. We realised this is a lot like our wonderful Year 1 children, they are ready for new adventures in Year 2. They will be hugely missed by Mrs Jenkins and Mrs Cox but they are ready for the next step in their school journey!
