Year 2 Enjoy Time with their Lower School Peers and a Day at The Seaside

Year 2 imaginations have been sparked this week as we have explored our new book Flotsam by David Wiesner, exploring the mysterious worlds seen through an underwater camera, allowing us to tap into our creative sides as we describe the unexplainable scenes from the story.

Year 3 were fantastic role models for us when we joined them for a playtime where we enjoyed reconnecting with old friends as we played on the Lower School Lawn. Alongside the excitement of our move-up afternoon on Thursday where we experienced our new classrooms, our week was concluded with our much-anticipated trip to the seaside. Much fun was had as we explored the old pier in Swanage, recalling many of the facts we had learnt over the past term. Nothing could have been a better end to a busy week then feeling the sand between our toes and an ice cream in our hands.
