Year 1 Create Some Egg-cellent Sea Creatures

This week in Year 1 we finished off our Houses and Homes topic by drawing and printing lino pictures of our houses.

We also learnt how to find halves and quarters of numbers and to make half and quarter turns.

We enjoyed making Easter cards and working hard on learning our tricky words. The highlight of the week was decorating our eggs, making them into some egg-cellent sea creatures.

What a brilliant term the children have had! They have all worked with diligence and enthusiasm. Our Space topic was a huge hit too! Keep learning those tricky words over the holidays and we look forward to more fun next term.
