What makes Christmas so magical?

This was the question posed to the Reception children this week as they wrote some notes to a hibernating bear, telling him why he should wake up for Christmas. Spending time with family, eating lots of yummy food and of course presents featured highly on the list!

The Arctic tuff tray has been a hive of activity all week with the children creating super stories of penguin rescues, polar bear journeys and Arctic fox Christmas parties! We went early with our Christmas tree and a collaborative effort from the whole class has created a masterpiece of tinsel and coloured lights!

Our Nativity practises are in full swing, and the children have been working so hard to learn the songs and to perfect their dance routine – it will be amazing !

Keeping ourselves warm and well will be our target for next week - as well as lots of Christmas activities!
