Every Day There is Something Magical Taking Place in Every Class
It is always a pleasure to share our Pre-Prep and I am incredibly proud of our kind, polite and enthusiastic children, our passionate, dedicated team and our wonderful, rich array of learning!
Every day there is something magical taking place in every class from exploring microhabitats with electronic microscopes, to discovering different cultures around the world, exploring our senses by getting wet and sandy at the seaside in Nursery and inventing ways to prevent Bert the seagull eating Mr Grinling’s sandwiches! The Pre-Prep is a hub of creativity and fun, and we feel privileged to spend each day nurturing your children and exposing them to the world around us!
On Thursday, the children met their teachers for September and enjoyed a picnic together to get to know each other. The children are very excited for Move-Up afternoon next week and, whilst we cannot believe how quickly the year has gone, they are certainly ready for the next stage in their education. We are also looking forward to welcoming you into school for our ‘Introduction to…’ meetings for parents after school next week as follows:

Introduction to Nursery
Tuesday 20 June at 4pm
Introduction to Year 2
Wednesday 21 June at 4pm
Introduction to Reception
Looking ahead to Friday 30 June, a gentle reminder that the Pre-Prep Prize Giving is for N2 – Year 2 children, with our youngest children (N0 and N1) having a special prize giving within the school day separately. Any N0 or N1 children who attend nursery on a Friday afternoon are welcome to attend Prize Giving with their parents or be picked up at the earlier time of 1.30pm. Please do speak to Miss Ellis if you are unsure which nursery group your child is in.
