Year 5 visit Hazlegrove Café Français

Year 5 had a wonderful experience at the Hazlegrove Café Français this week.
Pupils headed into the sunshine to begin with a communication game to reinforce their linguistic skills before they went over to the café to put in orders as well as taking them. Croissants and cups of hot chocolate were among the items available on the menu and Year 5 had to think about how they would communicate what they wanted to order. The pupils took it in turns to play the waiter and practiced French café communication with one another. It was délicieux and fantastique and the experience has hugely beneficial to everyone’s French and tummies!
