A Trip to Longleat for Year 1

The week started with great excitement when the children returned from the weekend to find that some of our little beans had started to grow!
However, the fun did not stop there… without a doubt our highlight of the whole week or “best day at school ever!” as quoted by a child on the minibus back to school, was our trip to Longleat. The weather couldn’t have been better, and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting some cheeky meerkats, some lazing lions and even some super cute koalas!
In class, we continued to explore money. Using money to add and subtract amounts and applying our existing knowledge of number facts.
A very busy and hardworking week had by all, ready for a lovely sunny exeat weekend!
