We heave really enjoyed getting stuck into our new half term topic of Houses and Home this week.
On Monday, a very interesting visitor with a long pink tail and pointy whiskers arrived in Year 1. After reading the mysterious attached letter we realised it was the Pesky Rat looking for a new home and Year 1 were just the people to help!
On Wednesday we had the pleasure of being visited by Mr Stok who taught us all about homes throughout history. A highlight was testing out how many children could fit in an old tin bath! This set up us up well for designing a wanted poster for our new pesky friend who is seeking his own home.
The fun didn’t stop there, we had such fun on World Book Day coming in as our favourite book characters and writing a fact file all about who we were and why we loved that character!
