Year 2 enjoy lots of activities this week!
Year 2 has been bursting with colour this week whilst looking at the famous artist Friendensreich Hundertwasser who was best known for his colourful and abstract use of pattern and colour in architecture and artwork.
Inspired by this, we have created beautiful flowers using oil pastels, a display even Hundertwasser would be proud of.
We have also enjoyed a visit from a very mischievous character, Rumpelstiltskin, which prompted us to write a letter in response addressed to his secret hideout in Touraco. We also enjoyed learning the song, ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ in French this week which turned out to be quite the tongue twister.
