Splashdown! A Great Weekend for our Boarders!
Sunday Programme
After a scrummy full-English breakfast, we piled into the minibuses and headed towards Poole. And everyone knows what’s there...Splashdown, of course! The thrill of riding the flumes and charging around to get to the next adrenalin rush of choice, meant that the children (and staff) thoroughly enjoyed themselves for two exhilarating hours.
Needless to say, all were famished, and after a very welcome packed lunch, we headed back to school for a quiet bit of letter writing to share stories about our adventures. Once our letters were addressed and sent off to the office, the children had the options of watching some rugby, playing quick cricket, dancing in the theatre, football on the Bastion and some strategic gaming in the ICT room. Mrs Hughes came in especially for our Chapel service and shared an inspiring message about trust and remaining positive in all situations.
To close off a wonderful day, was the much-anticipated roast - the proverbial icing on the cake. The children were fantastic company today and lots of fun was had by all.
