Pre-Prep Present a Cheque to Save the Children

The Pre-Prep held a special assembly to present Save the Children with a cheque for the money raised from the Pre-Prep Christmas Fayre.

On Monday, Janet Baker from Save the Children visited the Pre-Prep children to tell them more about how the money raised from the Pre-Prep Christmas Fayre will be spent. Janet explained that not everyone in the world is as lucky as we are and many children have to walk miles and miles to get to school if they even go to school at all. The money raised will go towards, school supplies for disadvantaged children as well as paying to train a teacher so there are more opportunities for children to receive an education.

The children listened well and were pleased to be able to present a cheque for £412.31.
