Year 2 Create Impressive Hedgehogs from Conkers

This week Year 2 studied conkers and their shells!

Fortunately we were able to find the only two Horse Chestnut trees in our woods, although still very young we were able to look at their distinctive leaves.  We used the conker’s spikey casings to make fantastic clay hedgehogs.  They are now drying out in our classrooms, please do come and have a look!
