Pre-Prep poppies help Hazlegrove to remember
The Pre-Prep children have been busy making ceramic poppies again this year adding to the those we made last year. Some of those poppies were then used in the Hazlegrove Remembrance Day service with one poppy being laid by the flag pole for each former King's Bruton or Plox pupil who had given their lives in active service either during or since the First World War.
The inspiration for the poppies came from the display commemorating 100 years since the start of the Great War last year at the Tower of London. We hope to continue adding to the poppies each year until we can celebrate 100 years since the end of that war.
