Year 1 have some furry visitors

Year 1 have been learning about how to care for pets this week and so we were all delighted when Mrs Craw brought into school two beautiful pet rabbits.

The children were thrilled to meet Woody and Smartie and to have the opportunity to hold and stroke them. Mrs Craw kindly answered lots of questions about how her family cares for the rabbits and she brought in bags of food to show what the rabbits prefer to eat.

The rabbits coped with the whole experience remarkably well and all the children really enjoyed having these gentle creatures in their classroom.
