Nursery have some wonderful visitors...
What a time for the Nursery children. The children are so excited about our topic ‘When I Grow Up’ and have welcomed four wonderful visitors.
Mrs Rochford (a vet) visted with ‘Bubbles’ the Cocker Spaniel. The children all listened to bubbles heart beat and helped to bandage her poorly paw. After the visit the children helped make their own vets where they looked after the Nursery’s animals.
Then we welcomed the Superhero ‘Batman’ straight from the bat cave! The children heard about all the wonderful good things he does to make the world a safer place.
We have also welcomed Dr Smith who showed the children the bones of a skull, foot and hand. The children all had a go at taking each other’s temperature and using a special torch to check for sore throats.
Finally, Mr Bush kindly came to visit us to talk about his role as an artist. They looked at some bronze figures and had a go at using a printing press.
