Nursery - 'When I Grow Up'

Nursery have been exploring the topic of "When I grow up".  As part of this they have had special visits from our very special musician Mr Marquiss and from Hazlegrove parent Mrs Craw who is a nurse.

Mr Marquiss talked to the children all about his love of music. We saw pictures of Mr Marquiss playing the piano as a little boy and watched him use the baton to conduct his orchestra. The children then took turns to be the conductor of the Nursery band.

Mrs Craw came to visit the Nursery to talk about her role as a Nurse at Yeovil Hospital. Mrs Craw has wanted to be a nurse since she was seven. The children learnt to bandage and give medication to their toys. Bibi helped take Mrs Houston’s blood pressure.
