Reception Serve Stone Soup

Stone soup for breakfast was enjoyed by Reception this week as we welcomed our Mummies and Daddies into our classrooms on Monday.

The children enjoyed showing off their amazing learning as they wrote shopping lists, acted out the story of Stone Soup, and prepared the vegetables ready for our cauldrons. Our rumbly tummies were very happy on Wednesday as we made our own vegetable soup to try, although we thought it best to leave the stones out of this one! As we shared our delicious creation, we reflected on the message of sharing shown in the story as we head towards our Harvest festival which we look forward to performing next week.
