Year 2 Enjoy a Victorian Holiday

After finishing last week on a high, after our magnificent and very confident performances in the Year 2 Review, the children delighted in showing all their hard work, on the stage and decorating the theatre.

It was a superb way to end the week.

Oh, my goodness it’s week 6 and we are definitely in the holiday mood! We were lucky enough to have the wonderful Mr Stok to visit us in Year 2. He has taken us back in time to a Victorian seaside travelling through to the present day. The children have loved learning how the seaside trip has changed through the different decades. Having the ‘hands on experiences’ has been invaluable; seeing and touching original artefacts from over 100 years ago has cemented the children’s knowledge. We have enjoyed sharing our knowledge with Mr Stok and having him explain the origin of many seaside traditions.
