Year 1 Meet Bob the Astronaut!

There are no such things as aliens….or are there?

Year 1 enjoyed reading the story of Bob the Astronaut whose job it is to clean the moon. Using time openers, we wrote some instructions to help him keep the moon shiny and clean. Perhaps they could clean their bedrooms now they are experts! We linked the story to our maths lessons on time, sequencing the timing of Bob’s day and learning o’clock and half past times.

In science, the children designed their eggstronaut landing pads using their knowledge of materials! An eggcellent week all round!
