Things have been coming in Threes for Year 1 This Week

Year 1 children have been busy bees this week innovating their own story of the ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’. We had the ‘Three Billy Dogs Ruff’, ‘The Three Snakes’, and of course, ‘The Three Unicorns’ crossing the bridge with a trip trap, trip trap!

In maths, we have practised counting and comparing numbers to 20 and 100 using practical equipment to help solve problems.

Our senses were on full alert as we put our hands into feely boxes, using our sense of touch to discover what was inside. We also used our sense of taste to sort different foods into sweet, salty, or sour!
