What a week!
There is a crescendo of excitement in the Pre-Prep as we near the end of term, and this week was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the children’s achievements and successes.
On Thursday, our Early Years children had their Athletics Showcases, demonstrating their range of sporting skills. Our youngest children hugely impressed with their first Sports Showcase, involving races and obstacle courses to display their physical development. Our Nursery and Reception children displayed great determination in their Athletics Festivals, showcasing their throwing, running and jumping skills.
On Friday, the Year 1 and 2 children displayed their courage, resilience and sportsmanship in their Sports Day. It was a magical to see the children’s pride after trying their best and how they encouraged their friends too.
Finally, we joined together as a Pre-Prep community to reflect on the year and celebrate every child as an individual in our Pre-Prep Prize Giving. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped to fill the children with a great sense of achievement and pride. It was a very special event and we are very grateful to our children, families and staff for making the Pre-Prep a wonderful place to be.
