Year 1 Became Astronauts And Took A Trip To The Moon!
What’s the time Mr Wolf? “It’s 12 o’clock, time for lunch!” replied the Year 1 children.
This week Year 1 has been learning how to tell the time, to the hour and half past each hour. They have enjoyed applying their new skills to the school day and particularly remembering when it is time for lunch. Whilst in our Space topic, we have fully launched…we created Space timelines and looked at the first satellite launch, the first woman on the moon all the way to the James Webb telescope in 2021. In our English lessons, we imagined what it would be like to complete our own space mission, writing postcards to home all the way from the dusty moon back to our planet, Earth. Another super week!
