It's Been a Week Full of Activities for Year 2

As we speed towards December, Year 2 have been enthusiastically learning their lines for the Pre-Prep Nativity.

Costumes have been fitted and songs learnt. The children cannot wait to show their dramatic talents to all their families and friends. Data collection has also been on our minds this week. We used our knowledge of 2D shapes, sweets and fruit to collect a range of data.

The children were then asked questions from this collection of data and used a variety of methods to record their answers and the information gathered. Tally’s, pictograms, block graphs were all created by the children. They particularly enjoyed making a pictogram and most of the children felt it was the easiest graph to interpret.
