A Fun-Packed Week for Nursery

This week, we have completed our topic of Transport by looking at all things that travel in the air.

The Dragonflies looked at the story 'The Bumpy Ride' by Nick Butterworth, which inspired them to create their own flying machines out of old junk. The Ladybirds and Butterflies looked at the story 'Whatever Next' by Jill Murphy. Using their imagination they travelled to the moon, with props to encourage them to re-tell the story. Later on in the week, all the children used a variety of fruits to design their very own delicious fruit rockets.
