Year 1 Taste Real Space Food

As part of their Space topic, Year 1 had a taste of some real space food.
The children tasted freeze-dried apples, bananas, grapes and peaches noting their smell, texture and how they are different from the fresh versions.
It was exciting for the children to taste the food real astronauts eat. They couldn't imagine eating freeze-dried food for every meal!
