Nursery Learn About Emotions and Practise Counting
It has been a busy morning for the Nursery children.
Firstly, the children took part in a Personal, Social and Emotional development lesson about being frightened and scared. A story was read about feelings and we talked about faces that we make when we feel different emotions. The animals in Percy the Park Keeper felt scared in some parts of the story and children had a go at making a scared face.
After a quick play outside, the children returned to build 'ice cube towers' made from sugar cubes. They all had one minute to balance as many as possible into a tower and then took turns to count how many they had.
A great morning with the children working hard at everything they tried.
