The Pre-Prep Celebrate Apples
Children in the Pre-Prep had a wonderful time celebrating Apple Day.
Each child brought in an apple and took part in a range of apple activities including drawing, poetry writing, printing, cooking and, of course, eating apples!
Apple Day is an annual celebration of apples and orchards, held in October. It was established by the charity Common Ground in 1990. They describe the day as a way of celebrating and demonstrating that variety and richness matter to a locality and that it is possible to effect change in your place.
Lots of fun was had by all!
