Year 1 Reflect on What Makes Hazlegrove Special

In R.E. this week, Year 1 have been considering what is special about belonging to Hazlegrove School.
The children thought of so many ways in which school was special to them. It was wonderful to see that the children not only thought of physical features, such as the swimming pool, computer room, forest school, classrooms and play areas but also people and their characteristics; helpful teachers and kind friends who share and say “thank you”.
Many children said their lessons made school special but the two most popular ideas for why Hazlegrove is so special, through the eyes of Year 1, were the cows and our lunches!
