Nursery had an unusual visitor on Pancake Day - a giant chicken!

On Shrove Tuesday, aka Pancake Day, a giant chicken visited the Hazlegrove Nursery!
The children looked at and cracked open a variety of eggs including duck, goose and quail, as well chicken eggs. Then, to celebrate Pancake Day, the children used eggs to make pancakes with all sorts of delicious toppings.
Many thanks to Mr and Mrs Wood from the local Traditional Free Range Egg Company for coming to talk to the children and for providing the eggs.
