A Nursery Rhyme Nativity for Nursey
What an exciting week it has been in Nursery! To continue the festive season, Nursery gave an amazing performance during our Nursery Rhyme Nativity.
The children have been working very hard to learn the songs. Their hard work paid off as their beautiful singing voices filled the room with joy and got us all in the festive spirit. The teachers were so proud of them all for having the confidence to perform in front of their parents and grandparents.
The Dragonflies have been working on their name writing this week to be able to sign their name in their Christmas card. They practiced their ordering from shortest to longest using strips of paper, arranging them in the shape of a Christmas tree, to create some beautiful cards for their families. The dancing and singing didn’t stop at our nativity performances, as the children enjoyed some festive dancing during ballet this week as well as in the classroom. A favourite has been the ‘Santa freeze dance!’
The Ladybirds and Butterflies have been busy making all sorts of wonderful festive creations! From painting, to sewing and cutting with secateurs to threading, the Mummies and Daddies are in for a treat! The children have been full of excitement, sharing news of their Christmas trees at home and we have enjoyed cosying down during the awful weather, for a variety of Christmas themed stories.
