Nursery and Pre-Prep Nativities!
We are in full festive party mode this week as the children gave their all in our Nursery and Pre-Prep Nativities!
When the children perform to such a high standard, it is easy to forget what a significant event and achievement these nativities are for them, and how young they are. It warms your heart to see the nursery children proudly waving at their families in the audience, singing so many songs and even edging their way forward to be centre stage, showing how confident, resilient and brave they truly are.
We were then treated to a stable hoedown with the Pre-Prep’s Nativity “Prickly Hay”. The boys and girls, with the help of Sam, Ben and the shrews, reminded us that we are all important, even for doing the little things in life to help others! They sang about being proud, and we are certainly proud of them for their incredible performance on stage!
Thank you to everyone who came to watch and support all the children in their nativities, making these first experiences of performing such positive ones!
Last Friday, we raised a staggering total of £772.30, so far, which will all be donated to Save the Children. Thank you to everyone who donated gifts for the raffle and baked cakes for the cake stall, and to all of you who came along and helped us raise this incredible amount of money for others in need this Christmas. A very special thank you goes to Leo in Year 3 who donated all of his pocket money to ‘Save the Children’, epitomising the true meaning of Christmas!
I look forward to seeing many of you tomorrow at The Friends of Hazlegrove Christmas Shopping Fayre, held in the Pre-Prep from 8.30am until 3.00pm, with some of the profits going towards a new fort for the Pre-Prep playground so please do come along and show your support!
Wishing you a fabulous, festive weekend!
