A marvellous start to the term for Year 2

A sunny start to the term has made us all smile this week.

The children in Year 2 have worked with enthusiasm and loved discovering the many exciting topics they can do this year. They have met a Scottish girl called Katie Morag and enjoyed a story about her delivering the mail to the wrong houses. This caused so much confusion for the people living on Struay, the island in the story. The children understood from the story that things can go wrong in life and with the help of someone they know they can find a solution. Forest School in the woods was the perfect place to explore and enjoy being outdoors for the afternoon. We have heard lots of wonderful tales of holiday adventures and all the children have been happy to see their friends again. A marvellous start to the term.
