Our Beans have been growing in Year 1 this week!

Over the weekend our little plants had grown to unbeanlievable heights, after one last measure, we found that some beans had grown over 90cm!!

We recorded our final comments and descriptions and proudly drew a labelled diagram of the end result. Our English lesson saw another week focussing on the story of ‘The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch’, however, we had the challenge of innovating a sequel to the series- ‘The Fisherman’s Lunch’ based on the trials and tribulations of those pesky seagulls as they set upon their next victim. Hidden puppies, slime and super speed baskets with motors were just a few ways Year 1 planned to deter the wretched lot!
