A Fun-Packed Week for Year 1!

Merging both our Maths and English knowledge to sequence events was a focus this week. Our new favourite astronaut, Bob, needed some help sequencing his day at work as he blasted off to work on the moon.

Year 1 helped Bob by creating a timeline of exactly where he needed to be at which time, from his 6am wake up all the way to his bedtime with a hot mug of cocoa at 8pm. We even had a go at learning how to tell the time to half past the hour - another week, another life skill! However, a whole class highlight was designing our landing pads in preparation for next week’s big ‘Egg-stronaut launch’. Thinking of the materials we explored last week to decide exactly which ones will make the most comfortable landing for our egg-stronauts next week. Stay tuned to find out more!
