Pre-Prep Has Been Feeling Very Festive - Read Miss Strugnell's Round Up of the Week Here!

Our Festive Friday, in aid of Save the Children, started with a visit from a very special guest – Father Christmas himself! Father Christmas agreed that the boys and girls have been amazing this year and with his jolly “Ho, ho, ho!” gave each and every one of them a special gift from his grotto. Father Christmas seemed to be accompanied by a few familiar faces and I wish to thank the Friends for their support in making today so magical!

The day commenced and finished with a burst of energy as the boys and girls dug deep to complete their Rudolf Run, accompanied by the Games department and class teachers. Nursery completed a whole lap of the field in the morning which is no mean feat, especially when you are just two-years old, Reception completed two laps and the rest of the Pre-Prep cheered each other on to complete three whole laps in the afternoon – what an achievement!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Pre-Prep Christmas Fayre and enjoyed singing carols, playing games and supporting our charity event. Our congratulations to those of you who were lucky in the raffle and to Arlo who correctly guessed that our snowy polar bear was actually called Shiver. As mentioned, all money raised will go to Save the Children, supporting children around the world in getting the medicine, food and education they need, things that we can so often take for granted. There is still time to donate if you wish to before we send the total amount off and we will let you know the grand total of money raised for Save the Children in next week’s newsletter!

Next week, sees the return of our Christmas Nativities! The boys and girls have been busy rehearsing and filling the Pre-Prep with festive song, and we are very excited to welcome you into school to share our Nativities with you all!
