From guinea pigs to gingerbread men, we have spanned a whole range of topics this week in Year 1!
We baked our own delicious gingerbread men, linking to our story of the Gingerbread man before innovating our own alternative endings. From super speedy Gingerbread men running away from the sly fox to helicopters who rescued the poor biscuit, we created all manner of endings. In Science we came up with different ways to classify animals, meeting our own furry guinea pig friends to see some mammal features! In Maths we worked on adding by counting on and learnt to add and take away tens.
