A Fun-Packed Week for Butterflies and Ladybirds in Nursery

This week the Butterflies and Ladybirds, have been reading a brilliantly funny story called 'The Lion on the Bus’, leading us on many exciting bus adventures.

On Tuesday, the children worked together to manoeuvre some real bus tyres to the top of a hill. They then had great fun exploring how to roll them in different ways, chasing them down the hill and then turning them into their own buses to drive. In the Classroom, they have been using their imaginations to travel on the Nursery Safari bus where they have been finding out 'how many passengers are on the bus'. The story has also given us many opportunities to sing 'The wheels on the bus' and to explore some musical instruments, using them to represent each part of the song.
