Nursery Goes Hunting For Lost Treasure

This week in Nursery, Dragonflies and Ladybirds had a letter arrive. Next to the letter was a small pirate, parrot and the Percy story ‘ The Treasure Hunt’.  The letter was from Captain Jack, a friend of Captain Orange Beard. He had been travelling across the world and had lost his treasure chest full of jewels, coins, and treasures Dragonflies and Ladybirds had to use picture clues, just like Percy's friends, they hoped it would lead them to the treasure chest.

The Butterflies, also discovered a letter from Captain Jack, telling them he had lost his treasure whilst travelling across the world. They went out into the playground to listen to some special clues that would help them to discover the treasure. The children listened carefully to the clues, they looked under, inside, behind, on top of and next to different coloured objects in the playground. Once they had discovered all 16 coins, they hopped onto the Pirate ship and sailed away to Pirate Island.
