Year 2 trip to Swanage
A trip to Swanage was thoroughly enjoyed by Year 2 on Friday.
After devouring a delicious and much-needed snack, we were ready to visit the Victorian pier. Along the pier, we were excited to see a beautiful spider crab and some deep-sea divers about to go on their underwater adventures, also the Brownsea Island Ferry passengers gave us a wave and the Captain tooted the horn of his ship too!
We then ventured to the beach where the children really loved building sandcastles with amazing moats, we managed to keep the seagulls away as we enjoyed our picnic and ice creams.
We returned to school with sandy, happy, and (quite tired) Year 2 children.
