Year 1 get ready for our EarthWYZ Festival building a Geodesic Dome

Year 1 got underway with preparations for our forthcoming EarthWYZ Festival of Sustainability, and in the spirit of American architect, inventor and environmental visionary R. Buckminster Fuller they built their own geodesic dome – a complex network of triangles form a roughly spherical structure.
Using reclaimed wood and snap together geodesic hubs to construct the dome, they soon forgot it was raining!
