Apple Day fun for the Pre-Prep

Apple Day is always a hugely popular event in the Pre-Prep calendar and this year was no exception.  Excitement had been building all week and the children brought apples of various different shapes and sizes to school.

Activities included weighing, rolling and peeling their apples and making apples crowns, bags and tags.  However, the favourite activities perhaps took place in the Rainbow room where apple pictures could be designed on the computers; all sorts of different varieties of apples were available to taste and compare and where of course the ever-popular task of coating apples in chocolate ready to take home at the end of the day!

All in all it was an excellent way to celebrate the Somerset tradition of Apple Day.
