What a fun Sunday we all had!  We started off with an amazing cooked breakfast that consisted of bacon, eggs, sausages, black pudding, and baked beans. After breakfast we all went to theatre where Mr Beverly delivered a superb, fun filled chapel focussing on what it really means to be a Christian.

Once chapel was finished we all went our separate ways, some went to the art room to take part in a poster competition, others to pit their wits against each other on the Go-Kart track. Looking at the talent on the track we may have a Lewis Hamilton in our midst. Some of the boys played five a side football and as popular as ever were the forty: forty and war games in the woods.

After all the fun and games we came together to have a picnic lunch in the woods. Mr Birch got his Ukulele out and a mixture of contemporary and traditional music was enjoyed by all.  We went on to an action packed group activity afternoon where we all participated in the Robin Hood competition. Oliver B was the best archer getting very close to the bulls-eye; he told us that he is the next William Tell! Sock hockey created plenty of competitive spirit and certainly raised the decibel levels in the sport hall.

After all this excitement it was time for a cup of hot chocolate and a bit of free time before supper. Lots of rip-sticking, table tennis, bike riding was enjoyed by all before a delicious roast supper.

Just another quiet weekend at Hazlegrove as you can see from the photos!!!
