Our Boarders Splashed About on a Sunny Weekend

With a convoy of five minibuses, the boarders packed their swim kits and headed to sunny Poole to visit the all-action waterpark, "Splashdown".

At around 22 degrees, the sunshine shone as the boarders whizzed through the twists and turns of the various slides.

From high-speed waterslides such as  the "Screamer", which descended like a rocket through 40 metres of slide in under 5 seconds, to the "Mississippi Drifter" that allowed the boarders to come together with their friends in a more mellow inflatable tyre ride, it was a glorious day to remember! The outing finished with a picnic on the grass to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. After another busy week at Hazlegrove, it was exactly the fun and relaxation that boarders needed.
