Boarders' table tennis - the grand finals

Set in the Centre Court Arena of the Theatre at HZG, the annual singles table-tennis final was held last night between Pedro A and Harry B. 

Under the bright spot lights and thumping music, the partisan crowd were yelling their support between points and doing several Mexican Waves.  The quality of the table-tennis was exceptional and the young challenger from Spain showed real prowess under pressure in eventually winning two games to love.  Harry did remarkably well but whatever he threw at Pedro, was returned back skilfully. 

A fabulous evening…who needs Wimbledon or Wembley Arena when we have Hazlegrove!
